I still clearly remember that it was two and half years ago. That was my first time dipping into Flash. My previous ForestGirl website was my first flash product. For the visual part, I drew and animated the illustrations for the entire site in Flash. I was satisfied with all the graphics on the site. For the technical part, at that time the website was build in Flash actionscript 2.0. The loading speed is not as good as I thought. However, things started to change at the beginning of 2009.


Actionscript 3.0 came out last year. The pros of it are faster loading speed, smoother animation and less crash. However, the cons for me is that I have to start all over again to pick up the tool to showcase myself in the internet. With all the sweatiness, on April, 2010, my new website – Linying Design published. It is a php, flash, xhtml and css driven website. The loading speed of the new site is much better that the old one. I divided it into 8 sections.

Also, it’s 2010!!! You can barely find a website without social media tags. In my new website, check both woodcut style bird and the letter “f” out. You will find me on twitter and facebook.
