Bonjour! Here is the 3rd envelope clutch I made recently! If you missed the tutorials of the first and second envelope clutches, you should check them out and see how I sew the basic pieces together. For this one, I made it literally look like an international envelope. Clutch available here.

Before you drawing the colors on the edges, tape down your masking tape to keep the lines straight. FabricMate Chisel Tip Marker is perfect to apply on this project. It’s permanent and won’t smear when you paint on the fabric. See color in Red and blue. Or get them at your local Hobby Lobby stores.

Apply the color front and back for the clutch.

Instead of using ink pad, I rolled over black fabric screen printing ink on my rubber stamps. Test them on useless fabric before stamping on the clutch. Let the clutch sit there for a day and iron on the clutch with a thin fabric in-between. The heat helps the ink last longer.

Last but not least, it’s important to clean up your stamps by rinsing under clean water and let it dry.
